Detailed Itinerary

Welcome to Zanzibar! When you arrive at Zanzibar's Abeid Amani Karume International Airport, our driver guide will meet you and take you on a brief 20-minute ride to your hotel in Stone Town, Zanzibar City's ancient sector. You may swim in the gorgeous infinity pool with views of the Indian Ocean, visit the spa (at an additional fee), work out in the fitness area, or simply relax on a sun lounger and soak up the sun. When it comes to eating, the hotel's Zamani Residence concept truly shines, with a range of terraced restaurants pulling inspiration from Indian, Arabic, and continental cuisine, as well as locally caught seafood.

This morning, you will have breakfast at your accommodation before meeting our knowledgeable local guide for a visit of the intriguing Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Many civilisations have made their mark on Zanzibar throughout the years, and Stone Town is possibly the most visible example of their impact. Your guide will take you first to the vibrant market, which is filled with exotic scents and bustling with bartering locals.

Following that, you will see the peaceful 19th-century church, which was erected on the former location of the slave market following the abolition of slavery in 1873. As you go through the small streets and alleyways, you'll see Arab houses with interior courtyards concealed behind heavy doors. Their design is similar to Indian houses, which include balustrades and metal railings.

The town's historic sites include the 'Tip Tip House,' the Old Fort, and the People's Palace Museum. Lunch will be served at the Silk Route Indian rooftop restaurant, which offers views of the ocean. The Silk Route is full of character, so savour the delicious cuisine and perhaps wash it down with a martini. In the evening, you will be taken back to your Stone Town hotel for supper and free time.

After breakfast, you can spend the morning at leisure. Your Stone Town hotel will serve you an early lunch before transporting you to your preferred beach hotel for the remainder of your stay in unique, alluring Zanzibar. After the pleasant turmoil of Stone Town, it's time to unwind and enjoy some quality relaxation.

Today is your second full day to relax at your oceanfront hotel, go for a mild dip in the water, or take use of the more active amenities available. Alternatively, you might go out to discover more of this wonderful island. The receptionist at your hotel will gladly assist you in arranging any activity or trip that interests you.

Following breakfast at your hotel, we will take you to Abeid Amani Karume International Airport for your next trip. If you have a later departure, we will make arrangements for you to enjoy lunch before leaving the hotel.
